| "The Mississippi River will always have its own way; no engineering skill can persuade it to do otherwise..." -Mark Twain |

| Adjacent to the "majestic Mississippi" and conveniently located in downtown Natchez, the Columns of Natchez is the perfect venue for your next symphonic soiree. Built in 1836, formerly a commercial bank and Banker's house, this sublime edifice is a classic example of the Greek Revival style, and an irreplaceable addition to Natchez's natural ambiance. The innovative architecture is both extraordinary and unexpected, and practical for the structure's original usage. Designated a National Historic Landmark in 1975, the National Park Service and United States Department of the Interior both agreed that the building "possesses national significance in commemorating the history of the United States of America." |
